INSURANCE & FEES

  • Danielle offers a free 15-minute phone consultation. This is a chance for her to learn more about your goals and to explore how she can best support you in reaching them.

  • Danielle’s rate is $250/55-minute session. Depending on your needs, other length sessions may be available as well at a different rate. Sometimes shorter sessions may be helpful for kids or teens who do well when meeting in briefer intervals.

  • Danielle is an out of network provider. This means that she does not work directly with insurance companies, but she will happily provide you with a superbill if you have out of network benefits for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. If you’d like to use your out of network benefits, you can reach out to your insurance company for more information. Some questions you may ask your insurance company include:

    • What are my mental health benefits?

    • What are my out of network benefits for outpatient mental health/counseling?

    • How do I submit a claim for reimbursement?

    • What forms or information do I need to include when I submit a claim?

  • Danielle does hold some sliding scale spots for those who are not able to easily access therapy otherwise. Feel free to reach out to discuss this option.

  • Danielle has a 24 hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made after 24 hours will be assessed for a late cancellation fee. Missed appointments without prior communication will be charged a full session fee.

THERAPY SERVICES

  • Therapy is your journey, and I am here as a guide along the way. Our first few sessions will likely be us getting to know each other and me learning more about what is bringing you into therapy and how I can help you. Depending what you’re coming in for, we may engage in more traditional talk therapy or more structured skills work. My hope is to help you reach your goals, and we will continue to check in and collaborate throughout our sessions to see how we’re doing towards reaching your goals.

  • Currently, I provide therapy services via a HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform. In person sessions may be available in the near future, so please feel free to inquire about this if you prefer in person care.

  • I am licensed in New York and Texas and will happily see clients in those states. If you are located in a different state, I will do my best to help you find a good fit in that state.

  • Yes, I do! I treat children as young as 9 years old as well as teens, young adults, and adults.

  • Depending on your loved one’s age and what we all decide is the best course of action, they may join all, some, or none of the sessions. The goal for family therapy is to help you understand more about your loved one’s experience and how you can best support them. This may involve some sessions where we focus on psychoeducation, some where we explore the fears that arise for you around your loved one’s mental health, and some where you learn tangible skills to help your loved one get back to the life they want to live.

  • I am happy to coordinate with other care providers so we can collaborate to provide you with the best care. This may include psychiatric prescribers, primary care providers, registered dietitians, teachers, coaches, among others.
